The Board will inquire into and make a determination with respect to the appropriate penalty for Dr. Larry George Serelo based on a Decision of the Discipline Committee dated December 9, 2016.

Board penalty hearings of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia are open to the public except where, upon application by one of the parties involved, it is determined that the proceedings, or part thereof, should be closed.

Hearing notifications will include

  • the full name of the registrant and their location(s) of practice
  • the date, time and location of the hearing.

Hearing notifications will not include identifiers of the complainant and any other third parties.

Guests are required to pre-register by calling 604-733-7758 and must arrive by 12:45 p.m. in order to read the hearing guidelines and sign the guest register.

Guests should read the Observer Policy for Members of the Public Attending Open Meetings.

Note: The charges are unproven allegations until the discipline panel has determined their validity.

The committee will inquire into Dr. Patry’s conduct or capability or fitness to practise medicine in British Columbia with regard to the following charge, namely, that being a former registrant of the College, Dr. Patry:

  1. during the period on or about July 12, 2012 to on or about September 25, 2015, failed to respond to multiple communications and correspondences from the College, contrary to section 4-13 of the College Bylaws under the Health Professions Act.
