College Bylaws
Section 1-8 of the College Bylaws has been amended effective January 9, 2017.
Section 1-8 of the Bylaws provides that only a registrant in good standing in the full, special, academic, or osteopathic classes of registration, who has a business address in the electoral district for which a vacancy on the Board exists, may stand for election to the Board. The amendment limits elected registrants to those registrants who are not a director or an officer of another organization that would result in a conflict of interest to the College. The revised section of the Bylaws lists the types of organizations that exist in British Columbia where a conflict of interest may arise.
